OPERATION INSTRUCTION for the ticket machine at the airport Düsseldorf

Among others you can choose an English menu

You start with the field "VRS" at the lower right corner
(NOT with the field "Start" in the upper left corner !)

you choose "Tariff stage B"

If you want to buy only one ticket, you go on with step 5 "Pay;

The field "another ticket" allowes to buy more tickets.
This leads back to step 2 where you will have to choose again "Tariff stage B"
May be you want a cheaper ticket for a child and choose the adjoining field
"Single Ticket Child (aged 6 to 14)"

After you have summed up the tickets you want to buy
you go on with the step 5 "Pay"
In case of a mistake
the field "Back" lets you repeat the last step
or you can start from scratch with the field "Cancel"

You can use three methods for paying
1. Euro coins
2. Credit Card
3. Euro banknotes

Shortly before entering a train you must stamp your tickets.
In order to do this you plunge the marked side of your tickets into the slot of the machine diplayed below. You might also find those machines inside the coaches.
